Interested candidates should embrace the opportunity to educate high school students. The individuals chosen must be confident and able to deliver lessons effectively and independently. Responsibilities of the position include teaching and supervising students. Specific program area knowledge is not required to apply. This is a PT, as-needed position. The GACTC application procedure for teaching substitutes must be completed for consideration. Employment contingent upon background checks, health exams/drug testing, and other documentation. Note that clearances are not required upon submission of initial application.

Looking for individuals willing to serve as daily greeter substitutes.

The Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center is in need of daily substitute teachers.  Daily substitutes at the GACTC are not required to have a teaching certificate or a degree.  Experience supervising students recommended but not required.
