HANDS-ON TRAINING TO PREPARE ADULTS FOR ELECTRICAL CAREERS
Within the curriculum, students gain fundamental knowledge, and hands-on experience with:
- electrical theory & scientific fundamentals
- electrical and automated controls practices
- reading schematics
- electrical controls
- building circuits
- working with the National Electrical Code
- raceway practices
- commercial & industrial power distribution
- transformers
- motors
- electrical testing & monitoring equipment
- energy management
- safety practices
- related math
POSSIBLE CERTIFICATIONS
- Postsecondary diploma
- OSHA 10-hour certification
- Telehandler/Mobile Elevated Work Platform Certification
- Fluke Digital Multimeter Basic Certification

September 3, 2024 through May 20, 2025; Weekly schedule is typically Monday through Thursday, 2 pm to 8:15 pm.
