The Esports teams at the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center (GACTC) enjoyed remarkable success in their second season, with three of its four divisions qualifying for the TEC High School League Championship, which was played at St. Francis University on May 20.

The Esports teams at the GACTC compete against area high schools in two titles: Rocket League, which is a vehicular soccer video game, and Valorant, which is a 5v5 character-based tactical shooter game. Two divisions are available for each title.

The GACTC had three teams competing in Saturday’s event. (Pictured, left to right: Brian Kelley, Jacob Milliron, Daniel Kelley, Mathew Garhart, John Williamson.)
