The Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center (GACTC) is proud to announce the recent acquisition of an e Table—a state-of-the-art virtual dissection tool that provides students with an advanced, interactive learning experience in human anatomy and physiology.
The Anatomage Table is widely recognized as one of the most technologically advanced anatomy visualization systems available. It allows students to explore full-body, 3D models of the human body, providing an exceptional level of engagement and realism in the classroom. This technology enhances student understanding and prepares them for careers in healthcare with exposure to tools commonly used in postsecondary and professional medical training environments.
“We are thrilled to bring this level of innovation to our medical programs,” said Nicole Zernick, Executive Director of the GACTC. “We were fortunate to acquire this technology through the state Supplemental Equipment Grant. We are committed to provide cutting-edge resources that support hands-on, career-ready education for our students.”
The GACTC is currently seeking a Health & Medical Science teacher to fill a vacancy in one of our existing Health & Medical Science programs. This full-time teaching position offers the opportunity to work with motivated students who are preparing for in-demand careers across the healthcare field. Individuals with a current LPN, RN or Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field may apply. Candidates are encouraged to visit www.gactc.edu/employment for more information.
