Senior Spotlight 2026 - Computer Programming

The Greater Altoona Career and Technology center is proud to spotlight the seniors of our Computer Programming program. These students have spent their time at GACTC mastering the logic and languages that drive modern innovation. These seniors have spent countless hours debugging, designing, and deploying complex projects, readying themselves for careers in cybersecurity, software engineering, game development, and more. Let’s celebrate their technical prowess and the creative problem-solving skills they are taking with them into the tech industry.

What is your favorite memory from your time at GACTC?

My favorite memory is during KodeKlash being able to code a game with a partner my first year.

Competing in KodeKlash, and making side projects like Minesweeper.

Future plans:

I’m planning on going to Penn Highlands for a 2 year college before deciding if I will continue or go into the workforce.

What is your favorite memory from your time at GACTC?

I have enjoyed each end of year project, the freedom to choose what we do is engaging.

What is your favorite memory from your time at GACTC?

The first KodeKlash competition, my team and I shared the same passion for the project. We grew excited to demonstrate it as it continued to be developed, and even though we were a bit disorganized, we were proud of the final product after almost two works of hard work in which I was close to burn out by then.

The first day when my friend mistakenly spent half the day at computer programming, not computer networking.
