On January 29, 2026, the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center (GACTC) hosted its annual National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) banquet to celebrate the academic and technical achievements of its students. The event recognized both new and returning members who have demonstrated excellence in their respective career and technical education programs.

Induction into NTHS is reserved for students who demonstrate academic excellence through exemplary grades both in their career and technical programs and at their home school districts, while also maintaining a record of stellar attendance.
