Cost of attendance is used in figuring out a student’s maximum financial aid eligibility. When compiling this information the school looks at both direct cost and indirect cost. Direct costs are things that are actually charged to the students account for the program, for example tuition, fees, and books ect. Indirect cost are regular expenses that one would have whether or not the student is enrolled in school, for example rent, food, and transportation expenses.
