ACCELERATED COLLEGE EDUCATION WITH PENN HIGHLANDS
COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Taking advantage of this postsecondary experience may jump-start your college career by giving you the opportunity to earn college credits while you are still in high school.

Due to a partnership with Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, students enrolling in our Computer Programming/Oracle Academy, Computer Technology/CISCO Academy, Electronics Program, Multimedia and Web Design Program, and the Welding Technology Program can participate beginning their sophomore year.

Students may then complete their degrees at Penn Highlands Community College or opt to transfer credits to a college or university of their choice. (It is your responsibility to contact a transfer counselor at the institution you plan to attend to see if they will accept these credits. You should do this before you register for the class.)

COMPUTER PROGRAMMING/ORACLE ACADEMY students can enroll and earn as many as 9 college credits toward an Associate Degree. Students will qualify to earn as many as 6 credits plus 3 credits for English over their three-year enrollment in this program. If a student enrolls in the dual enrollment program, the cost is $30 per credit. With an average college credit cost of approximately $375 per credit, students will realize savings as high as $8,280 !! COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY/CISCO students can enroll and earn as many as 24 college credits toward an Associate Degree. Students will qualify to earn as many as 21 credits plus 3 credits for English over their three-year enrollment in this program. If a student enrolls in the dual enrollment program, the cost is $30 per credit. With an average college credit cost of approximately $375 per credit, students will realize savings as high as $11,040 !! MULTIMEDIA AND WEB DESIGN students can enroll and earn as many as 24 college credits toward an Associate Degree. Students will qualify to earn as many as 24, no English credits over their three-year enrollment in this program. If a student enrolls in the dual enrollment program, the cost is $30 per credit. With an average college credit cost of approximately $375 per credit, students will realize savings as high as $10,695 !! WELDING TECHNOLOGY students can enroll and earn as many as 12 college creditstoward an Associate Degree. Students will qualify to earn as many as 12, no English credits over their three-year enrollment in this program. If a student enrolls in the dual enrollment program, the cost is $30 per credit. With an average college credit cost of approximately $375 per credit, students will realize savings as high as $4,140 !!
